Dress for the conference. Dress code

Everyone knows that appearance has a great influence on life, relationships with other people, and also on career success. Business seminars and other business meetings are quite important moments in the life of a business woman, which is why it is so important to choose the right outfit when going to such events. To make a positive impression on your business partners, you need to remember the following business style rules.

  • remember, that clothes should be of a calm, even cut, avoid short skirts or dresses and deep necklines, you should look like a serious and confident woman in the eyes of your business partners.
  • Avoid items of bright and saturated colors. Best for going to a business seminar things in neutral or pastel colors, so you will look feminine, but not defiant.
  • Try to choose a thick fabric, under no circumstances wear transparent or translucent blouses to a business seminar.

If we talk specifically about the elements of the image, then it is worth remembering the rules of business style and giving preference to classic things.

  • The skirt should be approximately mid-knee length, but by no means shorter. It should not have deep cuts or various decorative elements. The skirt should sit at the waist, leave skirts with a fit on the hips for other occasions. A great option for a business seminar is a pencil skirt. Today this is a fairly popular element of women's wardrobe, and with its help you can create a feminine, but strict image.
  • Classic formal trousers will be a win-win option for going to a business seminar. You can also wear flared, hip or fitted trousers. The main thing is that there are not too many decorative elements on the trousers, and they the color was neutral, for example, brown, black or dark blue.
  • You can choose absolutely any blouse, with the exception of see-through ones and with a deep neckline. It can be a classic white, or a striped or polka dot blouse. There are a lot of options, the main thing is to choose it so that it adds solidity and femininity to the image.
  • It is preferable to choose not massive or flashy jewelry as accessories; they should only complement the image, but not overshadow the clothing. Moreover, all decorations must be natural. Let it be only earrings, but they must be made of real gold or silver. Remember that jewelry in business style is unacceptable. You should always wear tights, even in the hottest season, and the color should be exclusively flesh-colored; patterns and especially mesh are not allowed. The bag must be made of genuine leather or patent leather, but in no case artificial.
  • It is better to choose shoes with low heels and always with a closed toe. The style should be classic and the appearance impeccable. Various decorative elements on shoes are also prohibited - this is absolutely unacceptable for business meetings.

What to wear to a business event so as not to be boring, attract attention and feel confident? Oksana Knyazeva, head of the “About Business” events, author of the stylish marketing and personal branding project KnyazevaBridge, an accredited lecturer at CIM (Charles' Institute of Marketing, UK), shares his insights.

- Correct, banal, standard - you know it yourself. No instructions are needed to choose a classic suit, “white top-black bottom” and other strictly business-style looks for the conference.

But a significant event (including a business one) is a reason to look at yourself differently and dress especially. Create a mood for yourself and those around you. After all, if there is a chance to be amazing, you should use it!

Ideas for men

An interesting image can be created with the help of details and color combinations. If there is a need for a suit, a banal look can be avoided by adding an unexpected element

  • Colors of socks and shoes
  • Instead of a shirt, a T-shirt. Business image, but not overdressed

  • Pay attention to the color. Brown and olive are the current colors of this season

  • Tie. You can do it without a tie. But if you can’t live without it, then think about it, even if you don’t follow fashion - it’s an old-fashioned tie that spoils the whole look and shows a lack of sense of style

And instead of a suit:

  • Expensive jeans, suede shoes or sneakers (same class as jeans) and a jacket

  • A sweater that fits perfectly, with straight-leg jeans or slacks (loose-fitting trousers made of thick cotton fabric)
  • Chinos (pictured right) fit into any look

Ideas for girls

If you are wearing a suit:

  • Today it is fashionable to be dressed in one color. For example, a white suit looks luxurious, fresh and business-style
  • Add an unexpected element: a brooch, a neckerchief or a wide belt, as in the photo

  • Instead of trousers, match your jacket with jeans

Photo from atelierdore.com
  • Instead of a shirt - a T-shirt, especially with “talking” inscriptions
  • By the way, a men's white shirt is always in place

If you are wearing a dress or skirt, the rule is simple - consider your silhouette, maintain proportions and balance. If you want to be stricter, remove the rounded toes on the shoes, polka dots in the print, add straight and sharp corners. For example:

  • Sheath dress. An asymmetrical haircut suits it and almost any shoe is appropriate: from pointed ballet flats, white sneakers to classic pumps with the optimal heel for you
  • And red works well if you want to be noticeable

10 dress codes everyone needs to know

Dress codes for successful mimicry in the society of businessmen, hipsters, bohemians, ambassadors and grandmothers.

There are many methods of “recognition by clothing”, and descriptions of individual codes like Business Traditional, White Tie or Semi-formal can be found on the Internet and in fashion magazines if desired. Nevertheless, this does not free you from daily practical questions: what to wear to the Children's House or to the premiere at the Bolshoi, how to dress when going to a hipster cafe or visiting your boss? “Russian Reporter” selected and analyzed ten “problematic” life situations.

1 Cultural events

Big theater premiere, opening of a theater or film festival A lot depends on what kind of seats you have: diamonds in the gallery are as out of place as a sweater in the stalls. European etiquette requires men to wear a tuxedo or a classic men's plain suit. A woman comes in an evening dress, but its length has noticeably decreased in recent years: the time for floor-length skirts is gone - in Europe only theater grandmothers wear them, while others consider a knee-length dress or an expensive evening suit more appropriate. The amount of jewelry, furs and the degree of exposure of the shoulders is also determined by the price of the tickets.

Ordinary performance Russian theatergoers dress more carefully than Westerners because they go to the theater less often. If in Europe a person with a higher education on average goes to the theater once every one and a half to two months, in Russia - once or twice a year, hence the desire to dress “as if for a holiday.” Now the opinions of stylists vary: some believe that a suit remains a mandatory attribute of the stalls, others are sure that it is quite acceptable to wear a jacket with jeans and wear a scarf instead of a tie. Women can choose a dress no higher than knee length or an evening separate (skirt with a top or blouse). But diamonds will be completely out of place.

Ordinary film screening Does not imply any special requirements, Casual style.

Exhibitions of contemporary artists, photographers, etc. It makes sense to dress in things from avant-garde designers (for example, Gareth Pugh, Rick Owens, Mugler). In general, Russian bohemia prefers dark colors, thus standing out against the background of the dressed-up elite “in Prada with sequins.” The style involves soft color transitions (mainly from gray to gray), a clear shape, and a graphic silhouette. A more relaxed option is long T-shirt dresses and shoes with signs of wear. If you come as a public figure, this is the case when you can afford to be shocking without looking like a city crazy. For everyone else, the Dressy Casual style is appropriate, say, jeans with a sports jacket - made of elastic fabric (knitwear, jersey), without lining or shoulder pads, with no more than two buttons and most often one vent, and on the sleeves there are three buttons versus the classic four. Casual style is also quite acceptable, although for this situation it is boring.

“Serious” museums like the Tretyakov Gallery Here, too, there is a certain conflict between the European tradition and ours. In the West, it is believed that a museum visitor should feel as comfortable as possible; the main task is not to scare people away with strict regulations, but, on the contrary, to lure them in. In the Louvre, for example, you are allowed to sit on the floor - and the Casual style is considered more than acceptable. In Russia, “museum rules” are traditionally stricter. In general, the same principle applies as in the theater: people who rarely visit museums tend to dress more formally, so if you want to impress as a regular, come in jeans.

Classical music concert somewhere at the Conservatory Stylistically equal to “serious” theater with traditions.

Rock concert For a man - jeans and a sports jacket (this dress code is appropriate both for a rock club and for a nostalgic trip to a concert of touring youth idols like the Scorpions). A woman can come in a cocktail dress, but not too classic: this is exactly the case when you can demonstrate some current short-term trend and wear something from the seasonal collection.

Fashion shows The main principle is to choose something timeless and not try to follow fashion trends. What you present on the catwalk will a priori be more relevant than what you wear: even the most fashionable things of the season will look outdated.

Musicals Definitely Casual: musicals derived from one-act operettas traditionally belong to the “low” entertainment genre.

2 Food and drink

Expensive pretentious restaurants Here you can “walk” jewelry. Clothes for women - cocktail dresses. Subtle colors are welcome - dark blue, deep emerald, chocolate - and a loose, flowing silhouette with an emphasis on the shoulder line or waist. The main rule: nothing should remind you of work - jackets or formal sheath dresses are excluded. It would be appropriate for men to come in a black evening suit, too smart for going to the office, and without a tie.

Dear pretentious clubs On Friday evenings, men come to clubs like Soho Rooms and Roofs of the World in expensive suits to live up to the legend “worked late, stopped for a drink on the way from the office.” On Saturday-Sunday you need to look more informal: replace Brioni shoes with Prada boots with a wicker wedge. The basic principle is very simple: the more expensive, the better, since the club needs people who will spend money, and not stand lonely with a glass of mineral water. Only more or less well-known characters in the club scene can break through in simpler clothes, who are ready to “burn” all night and “warm” another twenty people around, that is, create a mood that will attract those who spend money.

Establishments for the middle class There is no strict dress code; urban casual or office attire is quite appropriate.

Drink bars, cheap eateries Stylistically, they can be equated to a country trip. Sports fabrics and cotton are appropriate. But you can also allow yourself some eccentricity: a checkered tweed jacket, patch pockets, large buttons, contrast stripes.

Hipster places If you are not a hipster, then it makes sense to come to places where they gather such as Solyanka, Strelka or Jean-Jacques in Moscow in the same uniform as to a middle-class cafe or a wine bar. There is no point in trying to dress like a hipster: you still won’t make it as one of your own, since hipsters recognize each other not only and not so much by clothing (although in this sense there are plenty of identifying beacons), but by facial expression, attitude towards life and the Mad Men series , the ability to “fuck bows” in the right rhythm and on the right thing, and also, probably, by smell.

Etymologically, a hipster is a person who is hip, that is, stylish and “in the know,” and topics change all the time. Some of the more or less eternal attributes of an average hipster include Converse sneakers, a T-shirt with a print (preferably it should be expensive but look cheap - stretched out and worn), a Moleskine notebook, the latest iPhone model, a vintage grandma's sweater, deliberate negligence in the hair. Tight skinny jeans as an indispensable attribute of a hipster are a myth (denim breeches or True Religion flared pants will also be recognized as “theirs”). Mandatory glasses in the style of Bob Dylan are also a myth (they are not required at all). As for ideology, the original New York tradition assumed its complete absence, but for Moscow and St. Petersburg hipsters the correct trend is ironic-carnival opposition. In general, the right hipster should be focused on "a serious and deep dive into superficiality."

3 Dancing and frenzy

Capital dance club/disco A trendy seasonal outfit - for example, now it can be men's shoes in bright blue, a women's dress or skirt made of multi-layered black chiffon, massive hair jewelry. By the next season, such things are usually hopelessly outdated. The general style can be described as Creative Casual.

Provincial dance club or disco In this case, by the word “provincial” we mean not so much the geographical location of the club as its level - in the regions there are quite “metropolitan” establishments, and a unique small-town style can also be found on the outskirts of Moscow.

Girls are very fond of fake versions of the iconic Yves Saint Laurent shoes with a hidden platform, colloquially “hooves”. They prefer beige tights with lycra, at least black ones; somehow colored ones don’t take root. One of the latest trends is tights that imitate guipure.

Miniskirts are gradually becoming obsolete, and there is a shift towards midi. But since it is still important to be sexy, the emphasis must be placed either on the waist (tightened with a belt) or on the chest (deep neckline sprinkled with sparkles).

Men arrive in jeans with red stitching on the fly, a belt with a large plaque and “interesting” shirts - bright silk or with several layered collars and cuffs (from Vittorio Marchesi). The popularity of this designer in Russia is a big mystery. In all of Italy he has two small points of sale, and in Russia there are many of them, in Moscow alone there are four.

As for rural discos, Adidas suits may still be relevant there.

4 Parties

Corporate event If this is a formal event in an expensive restaurant, paid for by the company, then you need to focus on the “evening” requirements and choose suits and dresses. If everything happens in the office at a set table or in a mid-range pub, the Fancy Casual style is appropriate. The main thing is not to overdress, so that the next day you won’t be ashamed of the photo in a red dress with a neckline that appeared in a corporate album.

Home youth party Casual or Fancy Casual. For convenience, clothing should be multi-layered, selected so that you can take things off without destroying the set: for example, take off a jacket and remain in a T-shirt.

Semi-formal dinner at the home of a boss or business partner The first question to ask yourself is whether they will let you in wearing shoes or give you slippers. In Europe it is not customary to force guests to change their shoes, but we have different traditions and a different climate. Just in case, it’s worth bringing a change: house slippers in the shape of a hare will look strange with clothes, which in this case should be quite formal.

It is worth focusing on the A5 dress code (see subverst), and the tie can be “fun”: knitted, cotton, or some non-standard color. You can wear not a suit, but a set - say, trousers with a blazer or sweater made of good expensive fabric (cashmere, vicuna).

Women come in dresses, but not open ones: necklines and bare shoulders are categorically not welcome. The length varies from ankle length (not floor length) to knee length. Skirts with a knitted two-piece are also appropriate.

Birthday of a colleague or business partner All the requirements from the previous paragraph remain, but the festiveness of the event can be emphasized with some fashionable detail: a tie from the seasonal collection or a dress of the current color and shape.

Visiting grandma (family celebrations) Here you need to think, first of all, about how to please your relatives and take into account the tastes of the older generation - most likely, your grandmother will like a modest dress and a discreet men's ensemble. But you shouldn’t dress too formally: the celebration is still a family one. The most appropriate would be Fancy Casual and Semi-formal.

5. Business meetings and negotiations

Interview (hiring) A dark gray suit and a white shirt are best. The tie could be a little brighter. The person at the interview should not be annoying, so no perfume or bright makeup. If it is possible to demonstrate status marks, please do so.

Negotiations with the client (for employees) A suit, but not necessarily strict - an interesting color or frameless model is quite acceptable. Middle managers do not always have the opportunity to buy a high-status watch or boots, so the emphasis should be on a high-quality, expensive shirt.

Neglecting this part of the wardrobe is a traditional Russian mistake: for some reason, many people think that you can buy any shirt, but no one will notice the difference. Another common mistake is to wear a wool suit during the day that is intended for the evening.

Women can also come in a suit; sets (skirt and blouse) are also acceptable. Inflated skirts, skirts under the bust or with suspenders, turning into a sundress, look advantageous for the figure and at the same time quite formal. Depending on the owner’s parameters, the skirt can be either a tulip or diverging downward. Taboo is any hint of sexuality. Unbuttoning the top button of a blouse is appropriate, but the next three are not necessary.
Particularly strict companies make life easier for their employees by distributing relevant reminders.

Negotiations with a superior or equal (for employees) Depending on the importance of the negotiations, the location of them and the “superiority” of the partner - either Btr (see subversus), or everything as in the previous paragraph. In exceptional cases - Bb.

Negotiations with equals or competitors (for business owners and top managers) Be sure to have some status markers and expensive things. Even if we are talking about the owner of an advertising agency or design studio, who fundamentally dresses “creatively”, creativity must be expensive. If it's a colorful shirt, then Etro.
Traditionally, status is indicated by a watch - for example, the former head of Euroset, Evgeny Chichvarkin, always ignored the dress code, but wore a very expensive watch.
Previously, the emphasis was on expensive classic boots, but today this is no longer so relevant - after all, there are also sneakers for five hundred dollars. Nevertheless, shoes are an excellent reason to “freaky”, while being within the bounds of decency. Our business people traditionally wear Italian-type shoes (long toes, narrow soles), while British brogues, being no less status, look much more original.

However, there is a very subtle point here: in negotiations it is important which of the partners is more interested in the deal. If you need to sell, say, a service, then you are limited to more strict limits. A good option is to follow the dress code of the customer's company.

And vice versa: if you act as a customer, you can feel free and allow yourself some etiquette rudeness, while remaining within the bounds of decency. Therefore, any liberties in the wardrobe are a great opportunity to indicate your more advantageous position and show who is “on top” and who “needs the most.” Options for liberties can be very different: the head of one Moscow company went to negotiations in an expensive jacket, wearing a T-shirt with Winnie the Pooh instead of a shirt.

Meeting with subordinates (for business owners and top managers) The owner is a gentleman, you need to focus on your tastes and ideas about comfort. The version of Winnie the Pooh with an expensive jacket is also appropriate: it creates the image of a democratic boss.

Negotiations with superiors Btr, Bb (see subverst).

6. To work in the office

For employees In this case, a memo is often issued with a set of rules for employees. If there is no reminder, most likely the company’s strict dress code is not followed and Smart Casual style is appropriate.

A man can wear jeans and a sweater, but there must be a shirt underneath the sweater. A combination of a shirt with a vest, jumper and cardigan also looks good.

The same applies to women. The exception is offices where there is no dress code at all (for example, the editorial office of RR).

For the authorities Whatever.

7 Receptions, ceremonies

With the participation of top officials of the state, ambassadors In almost all cases, invitations are sent to such events, which indicate the dress code: White Tie or Black Tie.
Receptions with the participation of foreign politicians, show business figures, and entrepreneurs In most cases, invitations with a dress code are also expected. If there is no direct instruction, men wear suits without a pattern, women wear cocktail dresses.

Official opening ceremonies (theater, festival, boutique, etc.) When it comes to red carpets, men wear tuxedos, women wear evening or cocktail dresses. If the event is less pretentious - Cocktail. The requirements are gradually blurring, and Creative Casual, which was absolutely unacceptable five years ago, already looks quite appropriate at some events.

Awards and awards ceremonies See previous paragraph. As in the theater, a lot depends on the location: the closer to the stage, the higher the concentration of expensive suits and diamonds.

Social receptions Cocktail.

Weddings If the wedding is on a grand scale, then most often the dress code is indicated in the invitation. For example, colored weddings are very popular now: all guests are asked to come in bright clothes. General etiquette requires guests to wear light-colored, but not white, dresses. Optimal colors are light yellow, pistachio, lilac, peach, various shades of powder. White color generally suits few people; even brides prefer cream shades. Trains and too high heels are undesirable, since weddings often involve various movements and walks.

As for men, European etiquette prescribes a gray tuxedo, but in Russia everything is simpler - a classic suit, light, blue or gray, will suffice. Black is undesirable: at a restaurant banquet, a guest wearing penguin colors will blend in with the staff.

8 Government institutions

For a visit to the traffic police, tax office, Pension Fund, Duma, mayor's office, DEZ, passport office, police or school, an office dress code is appropriate. In general, in order to respect the aunts-officials, you need to dress quite modestly (they will not be offended), not too poor (they will not decode you as completely “low-key”) and not too expensively (there will be no class hatred).

9 Academic environment

Defense of diploma, dissertation The tradition of “taking an exam as a holiday,” according to experts, is gradually dying out; now the Smart Casual style is the most relevant.

Conference As in the previous paragraph: etiquette requirements are gradually softened, Smart Casual becomes acceptable - for example, a jacket with jeans. However, in Russia, such events more often still involve costumes.

Seminars, lectures, public speaking Here the conservatives win: the person who speaks publicly must be the most formal one in the room - wearing a tie and a suit (but not black or evening). A woman can go out in an office suit or dress with a blazer (alternatively with a fitted jacket) and be sure to gather or style her hair.

However, there is another line of behavior - following it, the speaker dresses as simply as possible, thus uniting with the audience. Steve Jobs always and everywhere performed in jeans, a black turtleneck and sneakers.

10 On a date

During the day, the main task is to look beautiful, but not deliberately. Don't give the impression that you tried on all your clothes and stood in front of the mirror for three hours (even if this is true). A traditional female mistake is to put on completely new clothes and then hobble around in stiletto heels or suffocate in a corset. The desire to be liked can easily be indicated by accessories: earrings, brooches, bracelets. As a last resort, if it suddenly becomes clear that you have overdressed, you can always take them off. For Smart Casual men, optional suit, but no tie: it’s too formal.

In the evening A date night almost always involves a restaurant, so an appropriate dress code is appropriate (see above). Women's magazines vying with each other to advise women not to dress too sexy on a date, and stylists agree with them. The optimal “modest” option is a knee-length dress and medium heels; in the warm season, you should never wear tights. This is generally a very common mistake of Russian women - wearing tights or heels under sandals in any weather. As for men, if the establishment is not pretentious enough for an evening suit, you can just wear a good shirt - without a tie, with the top button undone.

For the first time It is paradoxical, but on the first date both parties are not always aware that this, in fact, is what it is. Someone called someone over for coffee - guess what, there is a subtext here or not. So it’s especially important here not to look deliberate: what if you get discharged, and the other party didn’t have anything like that in mind? In general, all the advice from the “Daytime” paragraph is appropriate.

For the last time, absolutely any dress code.

A business meeting can take place in different formats. Nowadays, it is increasingly possible to resolve any business issue in an informal setting and without observing a strict dress code. Remember that the most important rule of a business person is that the image must be neat. Avoid revealing cutouts, overly bright colors and use accessories sparingly.

A win-win option for a business meeting: a pencil skirt, a blouse with a stand-up or turn-down collar and high-heeled shoes. The image is laconic, but very feminine.

If you choose a suit, it should be a simple cut made of high-quality fabric. The color can be dark or light, but not bright.

A business dress also has its place. Moreover, now the dress is becoming the most popular item in a woman’s wardrobe. For a business meeting, wear a dress with a classic cut without prints. A thin belt that emphasizes the waist would be appropriate.

Accessories will add zest to even a strict look; they complete the look and hold the attention of your interlocutor. But decorations should not be bulky; give preference to simple-shaped products.

I recently participated in a scientific conference in a small German city. There were historians and art historians from all over the world. At summer conferences you always feel a little relaxed, but here it was also very hot, 29-32C, and there was no air conditioning in the classrooms.

There is no special dress code at scientific conferences. Therefore, it is quite possible to see a girl in short knitted shorts (a graduate student, of course) and a lady in a colorful sleeveless dress.

True, I have never seen people dressed in jeans at academic parties. This is some kind of unspoken taboo.

There's nothing more challenging than trying to balance the heat with business casual. And let's not forget about our basic desire to look young and relevant.

Let's start with what you don't need to wear. These are clothes that are clearly intended for relaxation, these are: shorts, open dresses, clothes with bright floral or predatory colors, knitted T-shirts and T-shirts, open tops, shoes without backs, including Birkenstocks, which are fashionable this season.

High-heeled shoes are also inappropriate at the Skolar conference, as are well-thought-out expensive business suits with a jacket, expensive jewelry, and expensive brand bags.

Humanities dress quite simply and any expensive attire looks very provincial and outdated. If the conference regulations require a gala dinner in a good restaurant, you can afford something more elegant, but keep in mind that more than half of the participants will still be in their casual clothes.

And here is what is always appropriate to see on learned ladies:

1. White cotton blouses (it is better to choose models made from non-iron fabric, it is denser, but they look neater. This fabric contains about 5% elastane, it will never sag, wrinkle in the elbows and under the arms, and therefore will eliminate unnecessary associations .

The collar of such a blouse needs to be raised, and the sleeves need to be rolled up. .

And don’t forget that under a white blouse it’s better to wear nude underwear, not white.

2. Trousers made of light materials, maybe 7/8, but not shorter!

3. A pencil skirt is not suitable for a summer conference - it’s too formal for winter. Summer conference skirts should be a little looser. Just no gypsy style!

4. It is better to combine all this with tops (neckline, covered shoulders) made of natural silk, and not with knitted “blouses”. In general, nothing ages as much as cellular knitwear. Guess for yourself what associations it evokes.

It is always better to cover your shoulders, even in outright heat. The shoulders above the elbow are a very risky area to show off. To look younger, it is better to cover them at least halfway, if your elbows allow.

In the summer, however, as always, you need to pay special attention to your elbows. My personal method is a medium-hard scrub once a week and a cream every day. Elbows become smooth and sleek.

5. Dresses – plain, or with non-floral and non-aggressive prints. The cutout should be small, or better yet, blind. A beautiful silky fabric, instead of a faded neckline, will knock off a dozen years from you, while at the same time adding respectability.

I’ll warn you right away – it’s hellishly difficult to buy a suitable dress. Everything summer will be short, with a neckline and frivolous flowers. But we are not afraid of difficulties. Truth?

Very light, translucent dresses are also inappropriate at a conference. If there is any hint of transparency, wear or a special case. And if the transparency is frank, don’t wear it at all.

Linen items are quite acceptable for summer business wear, but there is one problem - they are always wrinkled. Perhaps it makes them stylish, but wrinkled structures give rise to unnecessary associations with wrinkles. Designer, exquisite bruising of linen items can age you more than three sleepless nights and indigestion.

6. Summer shoes should be comfortable and stable (light shoes with low heels, ballet flats, oxfords, slippers), but it is better if they completely cover the toes, or cover them as much as possible. There is no need to remind you that covered fingers do not exclude a flawless pedicure. It is always within our power to achieve baby-smooth heels.

Western academic ladies dress rather modestly, but shoes, as a rule, are of high quality. I have never seen any obviously worn shoes on them, or shoes that have been repaired. Shoes are usually the most expensive part of the ensemble. It is always an order of magnitude more expensive than other clothes.

7. And one more thing. We have all switched to an electronic form of taking notes a long time ago. For this purpose, we use iPhone, iPad or other, more budget-friendly options. However, sometimes you still need to use a pen, at least to sign your name. I implore you, afternoon ladies, keep a good expensive pen in your bag and never use cheap plastic ones. I know the I-lose-my-hands-all-the-time excuses. You won't lose a good expensive pen! Don't get your hands on anything pathetic and wretched made of blue plastic. And beauty, youth and inspiration will be with you.
