Mostly occurs in women with sizes 1 - 2, and practically does not occur with sizes larger than three. Pear-shaped breasts (omega)	It is characterized by the same girth size of the mammary gland at the base and at the most protruding point. The nipples are directed forward or to the sides, the distance between the right and left breasts is almost always less than 1 cm, breasts are adjacent to each other. The best fit for this type of breast is underwear with elastic cups or a minimizer.

Distance between mammary glands

A very individual parameter is the distance at which the mammary glands are located on the chest. This indicator has a significant impact on the choice of underwear and the comfort of wearing it.

The most common location is when the distance between the right and left mammary glands is small, up to 5 centimeters. Fullness of the upper part and difficulties in choosing a bra

Last week I went to counseling two plastic surgeons. Although we are talking about a conscious breast reduction, both doctors asked several times if I was sure I wanted size B and whether it would be too small. Surprisingly, the cult of large breasts has not bypassed professionals, to whom women regularly turn to with a request to reduce them.

I want to tell you why size E breasts are not luck or luck, but a lot of worries and restrictions, and why I want to reduce them. In the lists of reasons why patients seek breast reduction, aesthetics usually ranks last, with pain, discomfort, skin irritation and limitation of physical activity in the first place. And this is not all the difficulties and troubles that it creates big breasts.

I exercise regularly, go for massages and walk a lot. My muscles, ligaments and bones are in excellent condition (even the anesthesiologist who gave me an epidural during labor noted that the intervertebral ligament is very strong and said that this is typical for athletes). Apparently, only thanks to my lifestyle I manage to somehow control the pain in the cervical and thoracic spine, but discomfort is almost always felt. It’s uncomfortable for me to sleep because in one position my breasts don’t fit between me and the bed, and in another I feel discomfort in my already tired neck.

On one of my first visits to a plastic surgeon, I found out that, unlike augmentation mammoplasty, which in most cases (except for recovery after a mastectomy for breast cancer) is a purely aesthetic intervention and is subject to VAT (and in Spain, where I live , this is 21%), reduction in my case can be done for medical reasons with zero taxes. In America, such operations are sometimes fully paid for by insurance companies because they are considered restorative.

The glandular tissue itself also hurts and worries, because almost all bras, even sports, seamless or silk, compress something. I got so used to this pain that I once missed the acute onset of purulent mastitis, and only realized what was happening to me when the temperature jumped to 39.5. This was during lactation, when my son was one and a half months old, and I had to give up further breastfeeding. By the way, in terms of milk production, large breasts do not provide any advantages: the baby was hungry, thin and cried all the time until we started giving him formula, because my milk was not enough. In most cases, breast size is caused by fatty tissue, not glandular tissue, and does not affect milk synthesis.

Large breasts are an extra body part that sweats and chafes. Large breasts are almost never “standing”: if only in the first months after prosthetics, and then they still sag if the implants are heavy. In the heat, water collects under the breasts, and wet spots appear on the underwear. The fold between the skin on the chest and the lower surface of the breast is constantly itchy and irritated, and pimples may appear on it. Scrubs and cleansers dry and injure thin skin, and it needs to be constantly moisturized, and any excess cream again leads to clogged pores and pimples, and the circle closes. If there are moles on or under the chest, they also need special attention, because they are subject to constant friction.

For many years I haven’t owned a single swimsuit that fits really well and doesn’t cause discomfort. The beautiful ties make my neck hurt even in the fitting room. All the swimsuits I have are wildly expensive and take up half a suitcase due to the huge hard cups designed to somehow hold the breasts in place. There is no question of flying to the resort and buying a swimsuit on the spot, in a tourist shop. In any case, on the beach I feel best in shorts and a T-shirt, because then my breasts attract less attention. I haven’t found a single sports swimsuit for size E breasts on the Internet at all, even without reference to the price and geography of delivery.

Many lingerie brands do not produce bras larger than size C or D. Again, you have to buy expensive lingerie, wear it for several years, and wash it by hand, because it is a special purchase that requires a long search. I almost always buy British brands of lingerie online; on the one hand, it’s convenient, on the other hand, I’m deprived of the pleasure of walking around the store, touching the lace and trying it on as much as I like.

I envy those who can go without a bra. Those who believe that wearing a bra is pandering to public opinion have simply never experienced the pain of walking without one. Now he's on Facebook video With good start(“bras are too expensive”), but with a strange final message: instead of “bras should cost less,” it is said that you simply don’t have to wear them. But when breasts dictate the presence of a bra, the choice to wear one or not simply does not exist. Unfortunately, one can really hope that manufacturers will become more generous, develop super technologies and lower prices.

I look for sports bras in American and English online stores, which often don’t even deliver to where I live. Sportswear from brands like adidas or Nike does not exist for me, because it does not exist in nature: they do not produce such sizes. T-shirts with built-in “support” cause nervous laughter - seriously, is that support? For sports? In addition, I will say that if for exercise in a rocking chair one sports bra under a T-shirt is enough for me, then for running I have to wear two, one on top of the other.

I squat a lot of weight, but until I get a smaller chest I won't have any... correct technique squats. It is impossible to sit low simply because of the shifted center of gravity. With push-ups the same problem - the chest rests on the floor, and the arms are still half-bent. Sometimes I shudder when I see myself in profile somewhere in a window - my back feels straight, and in the reflection I can see a slight lean forward.

And there is also the feeling of being a bull in a china shop. When I walk into a cramped room or a full subway car, I want to shrink and make myself smaller so as not to hit or drop anything. Here, of course, my tendency to touch walls and furniture, getting bruises and not noticing it, also plays a role, but large breasts definitely add to the feeling of my own bulkiness and clumsiness.

I can't wear tight or low-cut clothes because people stare at me. They look as if I’m deliberately emphasizing my breasts and provoking them, although they are simply large and emphasize themselves if you don’t actively try to disguise them. I don’t have a single shirt (they don’t button on the chest), and I only wear jackets unbuttoned. I've been trying to buy for about twenty years now leather jacket and I can’t find any of the size in which I could normally raise my arms. Some things simply don’t exist for me - for example, dresses with open back which must be worn without underwear.

I had to forget about in-person shopping a long time ago: Spanish XL (and occasionally L) button up on my chest, but are too big in all other places (and often short in the sleeves, but that’s a different story about the difference in proportions). Many European brands do not make things that fit well on large breasts. Or even climbing onto it without a crash. In recent years, I have been buying everything online in America and every time I am glad that I, in principle, have such an opportunity.

Constant glances, from neat sidelong glances to straight ones, when a person seems to be talking not to me, but to my chest - this has been the norm in my life for many years. It’s worthwhile, thinking, to stretch a little or straighten your shoulders (and I often need this due to discomfort in the thoracic spine) - and it’s better to rest your eyes on a book or iPhone, because everyone is looking around. They look at me not only and not so much as a sexual object, but as a museum exhibit and, to be honest, I don’t know which is worse.

I have several perfectly fitting dresses that I don't wear because I know people will stare at me. I wear closed-up T-shirts even in the hottest weather, not only because they protect from the sun, but also because I’d rather sweat and overheat than feel like an object of prying eyes. I don’t understand why I should defend myself from aggressors and wear not what I like, but what will make me less noticeable, but, unfortunately, I have to do this. It’s stupid, but I allow myself to wear some things only when I go out with my husband, because then I feel protected - they look, but at least they are silent. It turns out that with emphasized breasts you are automatically an object, and the lesser of two evils is to create conditions so that this is not so obvious to yourself.

Perhaps the popularity of implants creates the impression that “everyone wants bigger breasts,” although in most cases they just want a little larger or a little rounder than they are.

And most people have personal preferences, and I just don’t like big breasts aesthetically. I already think that all people are beautiful, because they were born at all, because life is a real miracle; but this does not contradict the fact that someone Blue eyes I like brown ones more, and someone else is attracted to them curly hair. I like healthy skin, white teeth, thick eyebrows and small breasts, and I'm working on it.
