Bracelet-strap for watches made of polymer clay. An original and useful DIY accessory

Watch "Monochrome". Modeling from polymer clay. Master class.

Let's try to make a watch that will not only show the time, but will also become a wonderful elegant decoration.

Required materials:

- polymer clay black and white;
— mechanism for wristwatches;
- black glass beads;
- jewelry pins;
- jewelry studs;
- jewelry rings;
- large chain;
— glossy varnish for polymer clay;
— black acrylic paint;
- quick-drying glue;
- castle-toggle;
- toothpicks;
— mold “universal sheet”;
- rolling pin;
- round nose pliers;
- pliers;
- brush;
- knife.

Stages of work:

Roll a sausage out of white clay, slightly less than 1cm thick and 4cm long. Then roll out black clay into a layer 1mm thick and cut out a strip about 1cm wide and 4cm long. Place the black strip vertically on the white sausage and roll the sausage across the work surface.

Place the sausage on its side so that the black side is on the left and the white side is on the right. And roll out the sausage on top to a thickness of 2mm.

Cut the resulting strip in half. Place both pieces together and roll them out again. Then cut the sausage in half again, put both parts together and roll out again. Repeat the same 3-4 times.

For the last time, cut the resulting strip into equal parts and stack them on top of each other. Gently press the sides of the sausage with your hands and roll it on the work surface to give it a rounded shape.

Cut the resulting striped sausage into circles 1mm thick. Form pointed petals from the circles.

Stick three petals onto a toothpick and mold them together at the base. Make about 12 of these flowers this way.

Take two identical pieces of white and black clay and start mixing them together until you have a piece of clay with gray streaks. After this, mold it into 12 petals 2.5 cm long and 1.5 cm wide.

Using the “universal leaf” mold, give the petals a texture, then use a toothpick to slightly stretch the edges of the petals so that they become wavy.

Now you need to assemble a flower from six gray petals in the same way as we collected a flower with striped leaves. You need to make two of these flowers.

Insert a jewelry pin into the bottom side of the gray flowers, cut off the excess clay with small scissors or a knife.

Form oblong leaves 2cm long from black clay. Using a knife, make veins on the leaves. Use a toothpick to make through holes at the rounded base of the leaves. You need to make 10 of these leaves. Now bake the leaves and those made earlier in the oven according to the instructions.

After baking, varnish the black leaves with a glossy varnish for polymer clay.

Paint the centers of the gray flowers with black polymer clay paint. When the paint is dry, drop glue into the middle of the flowers and quickly glue one black bead at a time.

Take a black bead and put it on a jewelry stud, then put a striped flower on the stud with the bead, twist the edge of the stud from the bottom of the flower into a loop with pliers. Thus, attach the beads to all the other striped flowers.

Take a gray flower and loop the sharp end of the jewelry pin located on its bottom side. If the pin is long, trim off the excess. Then use a ring to connect one side of the pin to the clock mechanism. Attach the second gray flower to the other side of the mechanism. Attach a large chain to the loops along the edges of the flowers.

Measure the required length of the chain and remove the excess part by loosening the links with pliers. Attach a toggle lock along the edges of the chain with jewelry rings.

Attach striped flowers to the chain - six flowers on one side of the clock and the same number on the other side. Hook the flowers with loops onto the chain and clamp the loops with pliers.

Bracelet - roses made of polymer clay

Polymer clay. Roses. Master class

Stages of creation work watches made of polymer clay:

1. It is necessary to obtain a soft pink color for the clay to make roses. To do this, mix white clay with a small piece of fuchsia colored clay.

2. We stick a small piece of soft pink clay on top of the loop of a jewelry pin and give it the shape of a pointed bud about 0.7 cm high.

3. We form the first thin petal of the same height as the base of the bud, pressing it between our palms.

4. Stick the petal to the bud. Then we make several more of the same petals and stick them to the bud in a circle. There should be small gaps between the top sides of the petals; do not press them too tightly together.

5. We make the petals for the next rows a little larger. After pressing the petal into your palm, place the petal on the sponge and press down its underside with a tool with a small ball at the end.

6. Bend the top edge of the petal down slightly.

7. We make one or two rows of these petals.

8. In this way you need to make 6 roses from polymer clay with a diameter of about 2.0 cm and 2 unopened buds. Place pins with flowers into a wad of foil.

9. Next, we make small white-green flowers. To do this, mix white clay with a small piece of light green clay. Form it into a flat circle with a diameter of 1 cm. Using the back of a knife, make 5 indentations along the edges of the circle.

10. Place the circle on a sponge or palm and stroke it in a circular motion in the center with a tool with a ball at the end to create a concave flower.

11. Make 10 of these flowers. Lubricate the center of each with liquid clay.

12. Place a silver-colored clay ball with a diameter of 0.3 cm on the head of a jewelry stud. Apply a little dry silver pigment on top of the silver ball. Prepare 10 of these balls with carnations.

13. Take one carnation with a silver ball, pierce the white and green flower in the center with it and put the flower on the carnation so that its center is in contact with the silver ball. Prepare the remaining flowers in the same way and stick them into a wad of foil.

14. Roll out light green clay into a cake 0.2 cm thick and cut out leaves 1.5-2 cm long from it with a knife or mold. Make notches on the edges of the leaves using small scissors or a strip of metal folded at an acute angle.

15. On each petal, create a veined texture using a mold. Now bake all the flowers and leaves in the oven.

16. Place a bead hugger on the underside of the rose with a pin. Bend the pin near the base of the rose at a right angle, cut off the excess length and twist the remaining “tail” with pliers in the form of a loop. Do the same with the rest of the roses and white-green flowers, only you don’t need to put bead huggers on the white-green flowers.

17. Using jewelry rings, attach two pieces of a large chain of suitable length to the sides of the watch. Attach the elements of the toggle lock along the edges of the chain.

18. Attach three roses at equal distances from each other and a bud to one watch chain; attach the remaining roses with a bud to the second chain. Attach white and green flowers between the roses.

19. Use jewelry rings to attach green leaves to the watch bracelet, distributing them evenly.

20. Now all that remains is to attach several transparent glass beads between the flowers.

These are the ones I got. I think this will be great

In this master class I would like to show and explain how you can make a bracelet strap for a wristwatch using polymer clay and metal fittings. Wristwatches with flowers and other three-dimensional elements, designed in classic muted tones, will be able to maintain a spring-summer mood even in the most severe cold. After all, you can’t argue that wearing a wristwatch is not only fashionable and comfortable, but also beautiful and elegant, thanks to the skill of your hands and polymer clay.

Materials and tools needed for sculpting:

1. White polymer clay;
2. Blade or stationery knife;
3. Acrylic paint – gold;
4. Rolling pin or pasta machine;
5. Metallic powder or dry shimmering shadows;
6. Needle or toothpick;
7. Foil;
8. Paper napkins;
9. Brush;
10. Crepe paper;
11. Metal watch, chain, metal studs with a head or balls, carabiner lock, extension cord.

So, let's start sculpting:

1. From paper napkins you need to form balls of different sizes, the diameter of which can vary between 5-10 mm. This will be the filling for future bells, with the help of which we will give shape to future blanks.

2. Each paper ball needs to be wrapped in foil and its tail pulled out.

3. At the maximum thickness of the pasta machine, you need to roll out white plastic and using a round cutter with a diameter of 1 cm, you need to cut out as many blanks as you made balls of paper and foil.

4. Each foil needs to be wrapped in a white circle of plastic and the walls of the clay should be smoothed so that it envelops the entire ball of paper and foil, except for its tail part. Ideally, the edge of the plastic should be uneven and zigzag near the tail of the foil.

5. Use crepe paper to add a nice texture to the future bells. If you don't have crepe paper on hand, you can crumple up a sheet of foil and use its surface to create a texture.

6. In the center of the bell, on its very rounded side, use a needle to make a through hole.

7. Near the torn edge of the plastic, you need to apply either metallic powder or dry crumbly and shimmering eye shadow with a brush. Now you can put the bell blanks in the oven for firing. Products must be fired according to the temperature conditions and time interval specified in the instructions included with the clay.

8. After firing, we will need a container of water. Open the tail part of the foil and lower the blanks into the water. At the same time, the paper napkins will get wet, and they can be easily and without problems taken out using tweezers made of plastic bells.

9. The foil will also need to be carefully removed from the blanks with tweezers. As soon as you remove the foil from the insides of the bells, you will see that the surface inside the blanks also has a folded texture.

10. The torn edge of the plastic bells will need to be painted with a thin strip along the entire perimeter with gold or silver acrylic paint.

11. To assemble, we will need a chain, which we attach to the base of the watch using metal nails with loops. We secure the bells to the chain links using metal nails with heads or balls. You can first put a bead on a metal nail.

An elegant and timeless decoration in the form of a wristwatch – ready! Since it is designed in pastel soothing colors, it is ideal for both a business meeting and a romantic walk.
