Vases of autumn leaves. How to make a vase from autumn leaves

If you have colorful dry leaves from autumn, I suggest you make an original craft, we have already created something similar, namely. Now I will demonstrate a master class on how to make a vase of leaves with your own hands in a way known to many. This craft will decorate your hallway or country house with an autumn garden. Moreover, you will not need much material and the homemade product will take no more than an hour.

We will need:

— Autumn leaves.
- Inflatable ball.
— PVA glue.

First, take a bunch of leaves and a ball. Make sure there are no extra twigs or pods on the leaves.

Inflate the balloon to a certain size so that it does not burst accidentally. Tie a rope at the end.

Take glue and dilute it with water. One to one, maybe a little less water. Lubricate a small amount of leaves with glue and half the ball. This must be done quickly so that the glue does not dry out.

And here we have such a beautiful craft, an original do-it-yourself vase of autumn leaves.

In autumn, you can make a huge number of different crafts, especially considering that the leaves of the trees take on a beautiful bright color. The leaves can be used to create or decorate all sorts of crafts, such as making. An equally original craft is a vase of autumn leaves, which will be a wonderful home decoration or an autumn craft for a kindergarten or school.

To make a vase from maple leaves you will need:

  • autumn leaves, but not dry ones
  • PVA glue
  • balloon
  • brush.

Inflate a balloon and place it on a cup or bowl.

Clean the leaves from the cuttings.

Start gluing one leaf at a time onto the ball, spreading plenty of PVA glue.

Lay out several layers of leaves, which we also cover with glue on top. Place an additional layer of leaves at the bottom of the vase for strength.

Then we let our creation dry for another hour. After the glue has dried, carefully pierce the ball and slowly release the air. Don’t worry if our vase shrinks a little when the air leaves the ball; after a couple of minutes it should return to its original shape. Our vase of autumn leaves is ready.

If desired, instead of living leaves, you can take artificial ones, for example from fabric or soft plastic.

Hi all! Autumn is in full swing. Not all the leaves have flown off yet. And how many different colors there are. But we continue to stock up on leaves for our crafts. One of these crafts was a do-it-yourself vase of leaves.

Master class. DIY leaf vase

Necessary materials for a vase of autumn leaves:

  • freshly picked autumn leaves (we used maple leaves. However, you can use any colors. The brighter and more unusual the leaves, the better);
  • PVA glue (alternatively, you can use decoupage glue):
  • ball (or balloon);
  • cling film.

How to make a vase of leaves with your own hands?

1. Take the ball and put it in a small container so that the ball does not roll on the surface. We used a jar of cotton swabs as such a container.

2. Cut off the stems of the leaves.

3. Cover the surface of the ball with cling film.

4. Take a brush and begin to generously cover the base for our future vase of leaves with glue.

5. Now we glue one leaf at a time to our ball. Don’t forget to coat the autumn leaves well with glue.

6. We leave our autumn leaf vase to dry for a day or two.

7. As soon as the vase of leaves has dried with your own hands, carefully remove the cling film from the inside of the vase.

That's all. A magnificent DIY leaf craft is ready. And how much pleasure the cooking process brought to the child! Now such a vase serves as a container for our vegetables and fruits made from salt dough, which I wrote about.

I hope the master class on crafts from autumn leaves turned out to be useful and interesting. You can always express your opinion through the social network buttons (which are located below this article) or leave your comment.

Autumn is not the time to be sad and mope because of rainy weather. Don’t forget that autumn also gives us a time when we can fully admire the beauties of multifaceted nature.

Video: Children's autumn crafts from leaves

A vase of autumn leaves is a real find for the interior, which will bring with it the last warmth of autumn days.

An original do-it-yourself vase can be made from... ordinary cling film!

In addition to this, you will need a round container - a glass bowl, a vase or a small aquarium.

First of all, before making a vase of leaves, we wrap the outside of the prepared container with cling film. You can put it in several layers, then it can be easily removed later.

Apply PVA glue on top of the film. We begin to lay slightly dried, but not yet brittle, autumn leaves on it. If necessary, carefully wipe them with a cloth. We lubricate the leaves as we place them on top of each other so that they are firmly attached to each other.

In this way, carefully cover the entire surface wrapped in film.

Once again, coat the leaves well with glue to securely fix them. We leave our craft to dry.

When the glue dries (usually after a few days), remove the film along with the leaves from the bowl. Then we carefully remove the film - and we are left with only the leaves, which have taken the desired shape during drying.

If necessary, we process the edge of the resulting bowl. You can lay it out in separate leaves with an interesting shape or sprinkle it with glitter. You can decorate the edge with beads or dried flowers - whatever your imagination suggests. To give the vase a special elegant shine, you can cover it with a layer of colorless varnish or a spray of glitter.

Well that's all! Before us stands a charming vase, each of which is distinguished by the richness and uniqueness of its shade.
