Application “Snowman” with templates made of paper and cotton pads. Tear applique made of colored paper “Snowman”

WITH early childhood you need to work with the child, it develops hand motor skills and creativity. For kids there are simple applications on winter theme. The results of the work done will delight the baby. Crafts can be constructed from improvised materials that are always at hand. They will not cause much difficulty, and will evoke a sea of joyful emotions in children. After all, winter gives the greatest number of ideas.

Materials you will need: colored paper, scissors, thick cardboard, glue, cotton wool and cotton pads, as well as double-sided tape.

Winter house

A charming craft - a house under the snow. You can find and print any small house on the Internet for coloring. Cut the house out of white paper and paste it onto blue cardboard. You can draw smoke from the chimney in waves going into the sky. The snow is falling - small circles on the cardboard above the Christmas trees.

With colored pencils, let the child color the house: walls, door, windows. If there are Christmas trees or other trees nearby, color one tree with a light green pencil (felt-tip pen), the other with a dark green one. There is snow on the chimney of the house, the roof and around the house. It will be effectively replaced by glued cotton wool. The result is a voluminous and beautiful picture.

Winter picture with snow

The child must tear the white paper into small pieces in advance. It is useful for the development of children's motor skills and output negative emotions in a child.

For example, stick a house, windows, and a tree nearby on a blue sheet of paper. Cover the roof of the house, trees, and ground with white snow. It's snowing - that means there are pieces of white paper all over the sheet.

Little Penguin

Animals are favorite characters; you can add individuality and zest to each product. To do this, you need to cut out all the parts separately:

  • black body and wings;
  • red (orange) legs and beak;
  • white belly;
  • red mustache and cap;
  • white pompom and trim for the cap.

The eyes are sold separately, but you can make them yourself. To make the wings move, you can attach them to the body with small nails.

Snowman

This is beautiful volumetric craft. Application made of colored paper without glue, you will need 2-sided tape. The advantage of tape is that when children work there is a lot of garbage and dirt, but here it is clean and tidy.

Drifts are cut out of white paper in a semicircle, as in the picture. Attach snowdrifts and see how the overall picture will look.

Green Christmas trees are easy to cut out of colored paper. Fold a small piece of paper in half, draw half a Christmas tree, and cut it out. Glue a Christmas tree on top of the snowdrift using 2-sided tape, starting one at a time with the furthest trees on the side of the sheet. We glue the center of the second tree just below the first (closer) onto the snowdrift. The result is lush Christmas trees. There should be a large white snowdrift in a semicircle in the center.

For the snowman, cut out 3 circles different sizes white. The largest is the base, the smallest is the snowman's head.

On the snowdrift, slightly retreating from the bottom edge of the sheet, glue the largest circle. The next one is located a third of the bottom circle. Glue 2 colored circles on the bottom and middle circles.

You can add a colored scarf for beauty. On the snowman's head there are black eyes, a carrot nose, and a mouth in a semicircle made of red paper. Glue a colored bucket hat onto your head. If desired + 2 thin strips or 2 matches will be handles.

You can cut out and glue 2-3 clouds from white (gray) paper. Snowball - small white circles between clouds and Christmas trees.

Snowman made of cotton pads

Cotton pads are popular in applications; they convey snow well.

Two disks glued side by side - a snowman. Glue a colored cap on the head (upper disk). Use a black felt-tip pen to draw eyes, a mouth and a red nose. There are 2-3 black buttons on the lower disk. The handles are matches, you can stick 2 colored strips between the disks on top - it will be a scarf.

Trees in winter

On a blue sheet of paper (cardboard), stick snow and snowdrifts at the bottom using cotton pads. Then we cut out 2-3 tree trunks from brown paper, upper part let him find it on a cotton pad. Brown branches in different directions with glue on the disk. The result is fluffy trees in the snow.

You can beautifully cut out Christmas trees from green triangles. It’s better to have teeth around the edges for realism. Snowdrifts are cotton wool or cotton pads, and snow is circles.

Mittens and hat

Cut out mittens or a daddy from pink (blue) cardboard. You can decorate them to your taste (small flowers, sparkles, birds, animals, etc.). For realism, you can add decorations - fluffy pompoms around the edge. Cotton wool or pieces of faux fur will do.

For mittens, you can use small pieces of polystyrene foam, foam cardboard, or glass balls. If you have leftover pieces of felt from an old hat, you can use that too.

You can get a little creative and build a melted snowman.

Sometimes appliqué helps make a good holiday gift or decorate a room or clothing. A snowman made of paper and cotton wool, on fabric and cardboard is a great option for handmade creativity!

Applique on fabric

Every needlewoman likes it when an exclusive item comes out from under her hands. You don't have to do everything from scratch to create a masterpiece. For example, you can easily decorate a child’s outfit or a pillow if the craftsman uses an applique on the “Snowman” theme.

It is enough to choose a successful template and a fabric that matches the color and texture. First, a “Snowman” applique is made from paper - this is a template or pattern. Then the contours are transferred to the fabric, the parts are cut out and basted to the chosen location. Sew on the applique or by machine.

You can use the hot method and glue the picture onto the fabric using polyethylene and an iron.

Application "Snowman" made of paper for the little ones

Using ready-made cut-out circles from white paper, a colored isosceles trapezoid and an orange triangle, even a child can make a plot picture. You just need to glue the details onto the blue background, and the applique is ready. The broom and scarf are added at discretion, and the buttons and face are drawn last.

The paper Snowman applique not only develops creative thinking, instills skills manual labor. During work, it is very important to convey to the consciousness of young children the difference in the concepts of “small” - “big”, “more” - “smaller”. After all, they need to glue the circles using the pyramid rule. That is, the largest part of the snow woman is attached at the bottom, then a medium-sized one, and the smallest one at the top.

You also need to draw the kids’ attention to the fact that all the circles must touch each other, otherwise the snowman will simply crumble!

It should also be explained to the children that the figure should be positioned vertically, not move to the left or right, and at the bottom you need to make a “floor” or “ground”.

Subject composition “Holiday for snowmen”

For children 4-5 years old, you can complicate the applique activity. The snowman (circles for him) should be cut out by the child himself in the same way as Christmas trees, a hat or a “bowler hat” on a cute one’s head fairy tale character. It may have original details, such as headphones or a shirt, a sundress or an apron, or a shovel, sled, or skates.

Adults should give children the opportunity to fantasize. And when performing the plot composition “Holiday for Snowmen”, children can use all their creative potential. Let the snowman whose head fell to the ground dance wildly without it! And the smiling snow woman carefully helps to put her wild little head back in place for her overly amused comrade.

Volumetric for postcards

Children love to create objects that can then be used for something. Therefore, you can invite the tomboys to make a winter card for someone as a gift. Just let it be special, voluminous.

It is quite possible to make such an unconventional application “Snowman” in middle group. The details for the card are cut out of thick paper or cardboard, you can even take velvet. You must first glue the paper rings onto the background surface in a dotted manner. Then the appliqué part is attached to the free side of the ring. As a result, the snowman or Christmas tree will gain volume.

You can stick narrow and short paper strips on the tree green, which will imitate pine needles. It is recommended to make the snowman himself using the cotton ball appliqué technique.

The main rule when performing any craft consists of three “pillars”:

  1. accuracy;
  2. patience;
  3. fantasy.

Who is the snowman?
Snowman (Snow Woman) is a simple snow sculpture created in winter - mainly by children. Making snowmen is a children's winter game that has come down to us from ancient times, which originated when clearing snow from the yard or paths. The most in a simple way To clean the snow during the thaw, it was to roll it into a snow globe, from which snowmen were made.
The simplest snowman consists of three snow globes (lumps), obtained by making snowballs and rolling the lying snow onto them. The largest lump becomes the snowman's belly, the smaller one becomes the chest, and the smallest one becomes the head.
The snowman's hands can be represented by two branches, but sometimes symbolic hands are made from two small lumps of snow. The snowman is often given a shovel or broom in his “hands,” which is stuck into the snow next to the figure. Sometimes the snowman is equipped with two feet made of snowballs, as if peeking out from under the skirt of his fur coat. The canon requires that the snowman's nose be made of carrots (carrots were well preserved until winter in old Russian peasant farms), but in reality modern conditions more often, more accessible materials are used (pebbles, sticks, coals), which also indicate other facial features. Sometimes a bucket is placed on the snowman's head.
In Russians New Year's tales and cartoons often appears as a companion of Santa Claus. The snowman helps deliver and distribute gifts to children, just like the Snow Maiden. This role is most often assigned to the snowman in New Year's cartoons, but in reality he often stands in the yard, pleasing the eyes of those around him and those passing by.

Stages of completing the craft:
1. To make a snowman, prepare white cardboard. Below are the templates. They can be printed on a sheet of A-4 format.
Trace and cut out all three parts.

2. Place and glue the shapes in the following order.

3. Cut out eyes, nose and mouth from colored cardboard and glue to the base.

4. Cut out and glue the brown hat.

5. Cut out “branches” from brown cardboard. We have chosen the following form. You can cut two parts at once. Glue on the wrong side.

6. You can decorate it by adding large blue “buttons” made of paper.

7. What is a snowman without a broom? Our broom is a strip of cardboard 1 cm wide and 15 cm long. The end of the broom was cut into thin strips and slightly twisted using a scissor blade.

8. The plot was complicated by adding green Christmas trees. These are isosceles triangles made of green cardboard of different sizes.

9. Let’s place our snowman with a broom near the Christmas trees.

10. To make the broom serve its intended purpose, we added fluffy snowflakes.
Well, this is real snowfall!

Our snowman will participate in the school children's competition for the new year.
Thank you everyone for your attention to children's paper art!

Children love appliqués, especially those with a winter theme – they will love the snowman. We have made a selection for you best ideas with photos and videos that are easy to repeat with your own hands. They differ from each other in materials. You will learn how to make a snowman applique from cardboard, cotton pads, felt, cereal, eggshells, cotton wool and much more.

All snowman applications are suitable for crafts for school or kindergarten. You will have to prepare some materials. But most of the winter crafts will still be on the child. You may also need snowman stencils, as it will be easier to make appliques with them. We advise you to look at our selection of templates, which contains many interesting options. Change any of these master classes on creating an applique to suit yourself, depending on the template and size of the desired craft.

From newspapers

A simple applique of a snowman made from newspaper strips looks funny and very interesting. It can become an independent craft or part of a larger composition.

We will need:

  • cardboard;
  • colored paper;
  • newspapers;
  • plastic eyes.

If you have a paper shredder, this will be easier for you. If you don't have one, you'll have to cut the newspapers yourself. Draw a snowman on cardboard and coat the outline with a glue stick - this is a blank for the applique. Now glue the strips, but not completely, but at one end. Sometimes leave the second one free, and sometimes glue it.

Make the snowman twig arms and a hat from black cardboard. Make a face out of colored paper. You can add plastic eyes and buttons from fluffy wire or pieces of colored cotton wool.

You can draw snowflakes and snowdrifts around the snowman or add sparkles to the winter applique.

From felt

This application is more likely not a craft for a child, but an educational game for the little ones. It’s better for you to cut out the details, and then you can make compositions together with the children.

We will need:

  • fleece or felt;
  • multi-colored felt;
  • stencils.

First draw the details on paper. The easiest way to do this is using stencils. If you choose simple figures, you can easily cope without them.

Transfer the details onto felt. Cut them out one by one. Complete the picture with additional details using a marker. It is better to cut out even the smallest parts of the applique (for example, the nose of a snowman) separately so that the child can assemble the picture like a puzzle.

If desired, you can glue a small piece of Velcro to each part (to the background too) so that the picture is assembled and secured.

From paper napkins

Even from ordinary napkins you can make an excellent snowman applique. The child will benefit from both the process and the result.

We will need:

  • cardboard;
  • napkin;
  • PVA glue;
  • colored paper.

Draw the outline of the snowman using a stencil or yourself. Tear the napkin into small pieces. Coat part of the figure with glue and sprinkle it with napkins. You just need to pour it in, not press it in, otherwise the napkin will get wet.

Complete the picture with details made from colored paper. This application can easily be turned into voluminous postcard or a beautiful picture.

From lace napkins

The charming airy snowman will look at least not outdated on the applique. It is unlikely that anyone else will bring such a craft to kindergarten or school - it is very unobvious.

We will need:

  • cardboard;
  • 2 napkins;
  • colored paper;
  • rhinestones, snowflakes;
  • buttons;
  • plastic eyes.

Use a glue stick to avoid getting the napkins wet and ruining the applique. Place two napkins in the center, make small parts from colored paper, add external decor (it is better to attach plastic with superglue).

Show the picture from this master class to your child so that he can repeat the snowman appliqué with his own hands.

Made from plasticine

If your child likes to sculpt with plasticine, he should like this applique. Moreover, white plasticine, as a rule, always turns out to be the most unclaimed in the box - and this is where it comes in handy.

We will need:

  • cardboard;
  • paints;
  • plasticine;
  • buttons;
  • cotton wool;
  • any decor;
  • sparkles.

Take cardboard and paint it blue. Glue the cotton wool to the bottom using PVA glue. Cut out 3 circles from cardboard. Cover each of them with plasticine. Stack them on top of each other. You can glue them with superglue or a small piece of plasticine from the inside.

Complete the picture with small details. Sprinkle some parts with glitter to make the snow look like it's sparkling.

This volumetric snowman The appliqué piece itself can be considered a full-fledged craft on a winter theme. Even just hanging it at home will be great.

From eggshell

Don't throw away eggshells - they can be used to make an excellent mosaic applique. It's very simple, and the craft turns out to be interesting.

We will need:

  • cardboard;
  • stencil;
  • eggshell;
  • PVA glue;
  • paints.

If the child is small, you can use a ready-made picture from a coloring book or simply print out a snowman template for applique. It is better to take the shell from a boiled egg - it is cleaner.

Coat the parts with PVA glue and simply lay the shells on them. It's okay if gaps are visible. The snowman can be painted completely or in parts. It is better to use gouache.

Add additional decor with a felt-tip pen or decorate the applique with sparkles.

From cotton wool

A snowman made from cotton wool turns out to be cheerful and fluffy. This is one of the best imitations of snow.

We will need:

  • cardboard;
  • cotton wool;
  • colored paper;
  • PVA glue.

Draw a snowman using any template you have chosen for the applique. Make snow first. Apply glue to the image. Fluff the cotton wool and glue it piece by piece. Next, do the same for the entire snowman. Then make a snowfall. Complete the craft with details made from colored paper or cardboard.

Glitter can be a beautiful imitation of snowflakes or sparkling snow.

From paper

Paper applique is a simple way to please a child interesting game. You can prepare it according to any template in the form of a snowman and other winter characters and pictures.

We will need:

  • cardboard;
  • paper;
  • marker;
  • colored pencils.

First, draw all the details on paper. This can be done without stencils - just by hand. You can use the snowman template from this master class.

Trace the outline with a thick marker. Color the images with colored pencils. Cut out the parts and glue the snowman onto thick cardboard.

This applique can be an excellent basis for a postcard. Or just a fun game for children.

From cotton pads

The good thing about the snowman applique made from cotton pads is that you don’t need to prepare anything special for it – it’s simple.

We will need:

  • cardboard;
  • 4-5 cotton pads;
  • any decor;
  • colored paper.

Cotton pads need to be divided into two parts. Use one circle completely, reduce the second one a little, and make the third one very small. Glue the discs to the cardboard - the blank for the snowman applique is ready.

Take the remaining disks, divide them in half, and then cut them. Roll the cotton wool, which usually serves as a small filler, into circles - these will be snowballs on the applique.

Make all small parts from cardboard or colored paper. Cut a few paper snowflakes, add pieces of tinsel or glitter - winter applique ready!

From cereals

Previously, we already told you how to properly make paintings from cereals with your own hands. If you've never dyed bulk products before, check out the instructions. However, to make an applique of a snowman from cereals, you can simply take semolina or rice (whatever is already white) and draw the details.

We will need:

  • cereal;
  • gouache;
  • cardboard;
  • PVA glue;
  • any decor.

Take any snowman template for applique and transfer it to cardboard. The cereal can be pre-painted and dried. Next, coat the cardboard with glue and cover it with semolina or rice (you can use other cereals).

Once the glue has dried, you can add pieces of colored paper or cardboard. If desired, the application can be tinted with gouache. But be careful - the glue and the cereal itself (especially semolina) are very easy to soak.

Decorate the picture with decorative elements such as tinsel or plastic stars.
